What would you highlight about Giselda Home

Good

Breakfast was great and we had a selection of savory or sweet. The location of Giselda is terrific and in the heart of Trastevere. From here it is straightforward to reach the Vatican. Well served with buses. The hotel cleaned the room every day and changed towels.

A corner of the wallpaper in our room was falling down and the AC was a little bit noisy but worked well. A couple of spots under the sink with mold and the paint need to be refreshed. In the building, there is not a lift so uncomfortable to carry heavy luggage or for people with reduced mobility.

The staff was really really friendly. We had a great stay. The bed was very comfy. The coffee shop was really nice. The location was good. We had a great time. We slept there for 2 nights.

best location for the evening

location is great especially for eveing it is extremely convenient; a few steps to the restaurants, bars

no close metro, it takes 20-25mins to walk to piazza navona; the room is nice and spacious but the sink and the shower need to be cleaned better, water does not go away easily

Definitely to come back!

Position was great! You’re in the beautiful Trastevere, full of traditional restaurants. Only 25 min walk from the pantheon. If you have the windows open you can hear the noises from the street that will fade away as soon as you close them. It’s really sounds proof

The mattress was not very comfy but that it’s my personal taste. We didn’t get a proper check in, during our visit Giselda Bar and Rome is general was very busy so we didn’t get all the explanations about breakfast, the neighbourhood But was understandable!

The room was very comfortable, the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I really liked the design and that there was a waterboiler with teacups and tea available in the room. The location was very good, walking distance from all attractions in Rome and there were a lot of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast in the bakery downstairs.

Even though the room was cleaned every day, it was noticeable that the shower and sink are quite old and that there dirty spots. The water in the sink was going down very slowly. No other criticism :)

Absolutely loved it

A lovely place with a delicious breakfast in the bakery below. Everything was comfortable and excellent except for extremely noisy aircon unit, that I could hear even through earplugs.

Aircon unit is super noisy.

wonderful

The room was so spacious and set up beautifully for my family and I. It was decorated beautifully and was in a wonderful location.

Unfortunately the staff that were working when we arrived were really unpleasant to deal with. We had just arrived from Australia with two young children who were beside themselves tired (and my husband and I hadn’t slept for 48 hours at this point.) We had organised an early check in but when we mentioned this we were met with frustration at best, disdain at worst for asking for the early check in. It was really disappointing given how lovely the staff we met that evening and the next day were and how great the property and location were!

Superb

Great breakfast, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, perfect location to visit rome landmarks.

The air conditioning was good, but the remote didn't work (it was not possible to set the temperature). Since is over a main street it was a little bit noise at night

Very good

Amazing location in Trastavere! Room was really nice & had AC which really came in handy. Everything was new & clean. Breakfast was okay, an orange juice, coffee & a pastry of choice in the Café downstairs.

Room had a weird smell. There was also a bit of confusion about breakfast as different staff members were saying different things to us. Also there was no iron in the property.
